Jensen Ackles is rising young actor, Jensen Ackles has made an impression with roles in TV fare such as "Smallville", "Blonde", "Dawson's Creek" and "Dark Angel." Ackles has shown he can hold his own on the small screen with some of the hottest actresses on TV, such as Poppy Montgomery, Kristin Kreuk, Jessica Alba and Katie Holmes.

Texas-born Jensen Ackles is said to have once auditioned for the role of Clark Kent for Smallville back in late 2000. Obviously, he did not get the role. Three years later, he joined Smallville with its fourth season as Jason Teague, a young man Lana meets on her journey to Paris. Jason had serious mommy issues, and didn't last more than a season on the show.

You might remember Jensen as "C.J." on Dawson's Creek or as "Alec" on Season Two of Dark Angel. He starred in a series for FOX titled Still Life that was supposed to become a midseason series, but obviously never materialized. Soap fans remember Jensen for several years as "Eric Brady" on Days of our Lives.
